Mr. Hultquist practices in the area of complex litigation.  His diverse litigation practice includes the representation of individuals and corporations involved in various business disputes including breach of contract and professional negligence actions.  He represents clients in a wide array of real estate litigation matters including the enforcement of terms of purchase and sale agreements, mortgage broker liability, and constitutional challenges to eminent domain proceedings.  Mr. Hultquist also has vast experience with product liability, pharmaceutical negligence, and medical negligence matters involving catastrophic injury. His practice involves representation of clients at trial, arbitration, mediation, and appellate proceedings.  

Mr. Hultquist was a member of the trial team representing the State of Rhode Island in the landmark litigation against the lead pigment industry.  He was also involved in the nationwide class-action settlement with the manufacturer of the diet drug combination known as fen-phen, obtaining the highest award available for his client pursuant to the settlement agreement.  Mr. Hultquist is a former Rhode Island Supreme Court law clerk to the  Honorable Donald F. Shea.  Prior to joining DarrowEverett, Mr. Hultquist was a partner at a highly regarded Providence based firm.
