Mr. Berlinsky’s practice concentrates in the areas of commercial real estate and general business law.
He has expertise in all aspects of those practice areas, including all facets of real estate and business
acquisitions and dispositions, lending and work-outs, commercial leasing, real estate development, condominium law, design and construction contracts, zoning and permitting matters, affordable
housing, and business/entity formation (including joint ventures).
In connection with these practice areas, Mr. Berlinsky currently represents several highly regarded
real estate developers, landlords, financial institutions, and businesses throughout Rhode Island and
Massachusetts. Mr. Berlinsky served for more than a year as the assistant General Counsel for the
Massachusetts Housing Partnership Fund, a self-supporting state agency that promotes more stable
and diverse neighborhoods through the development and preservation of affordable housing. Prior to joining DarrowEverett, Mr. Berlinsky was a partner at a highly regarded Providence and Boston based law firm.
The Rhode Island Supreme Court, the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, the Illinois Supreme Court, the Connecticut Supreme Court and the Vermont Supreme Court license their respective lawyers in the general practice of law, but do not license or certify any lawyer as an expert or specialist in any field of practice.
