Dakota McLean is an Associate in DarrowEverett’s Real Estate Practice Group. Dakota’s practice focuses on drafting and reviewing contract documents for complex real estate transactions and commercial leasing, with additional experience handling construction contracts. His experiences include assisting clients with purchasing and selling commercial real estate, leasing commercial and medical office spaces, developing subdivisions, apartment complexes, and shopping centers, financing development projects, and constructing hospitals, office buildings, and utility facilities. In doing so, he has years of experience with the preparation and analysis of a multitude of contracts, including purchase and sale agreements, ground leases, space leases, development agreements, declarations of restrictive covenants, license agreements, easement agreements, guaranty agreements, confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements, master construction agreements, professional services agreements, and various other related contract documents. In addition, Dakota is well versed in real property, contracts, business transactions, property and homeowners associations, and local government laws.
Prior to joining the DarrowEverett team, Dakota worked as an attorney for a nationally recognized law firm headquartered in Tampa, where he was a member of their commercial real estate and construction practice groups.
