David Pentlow is a Partner in the Corporate & Business Transactions Group, and has over two decades of experience in corporate and securities law, private investment funds and investment management. He represents public and private businesses in a wide range of sophisticated transactions including public and private financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, reorganizations, business divorces, and day to day operations. He also represents private equity, real estate hedge funds and other institutional and high net worth investors and financial institutions in fund and product launches, regulatory compliance, and the execution of various strategies.
David’s experience spans a wide range of industries, including real estate, financial services, software, defense and law enforcement support services, video games, music, media and entertainment, education, oil and gas and renewable energy, shipping and logistics, technology, and health care. He has significant experience with real estate joint ventures, real estate investment trusts and investment management issues affecting real estate investors. He also has considerable experience with the intellectual property and business issues relevant to software, media and entertainment, and technology matters. He has experience in cross-border transactions and tax and regulatory matters in a number of international markets including the United Kingdom, Israel, the European Union, Hong Kong, and tax-neutral jurisdictions including the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, Panama, Ireland and the Channel Islands.
